THE LAND REGISTRY RECORDS

Records

The following Land Registry records were obtained on the 6th November 2017, the 31st October 2019 and again on 4th February 2020. They relate to the same "Ribble Valley Remembrance Park, Mitton Road, Whalley" with the same registered title reference LA885518.

We understand that in September 2019, Mr Nick Gerard informed a member of the Friends that the cemetery was now owned by a company called Remembrance Parks Construction Ltd, of which we believe, he and Sharon Gerard, are the sole directors

The Land Registry records prior to October 2019 appear to be similar apart from changes in restriction 2 of the Proprietorship Register - Title absolute, in favour of Nicholas John Gerard rather than Vector Capital Limited and similarly in section 4 of the Charges Register again in favour of Nicholas John Gerard rather than Vector Capital Ltd. The record after October shows Remembrance Parks Construction Ltd as the new registered proprietor of the cemetery.

The February 2016 Title

This is the first record of Building of Remembrance International Ltd rather than Buildings of Remembrance Ltd, as the registered proprietor of the cemetery.

The registration of a charge..

The October 2019 record

The Proprietor remains Buildings of Remembrance International Ltd but the restriction dated 18.01.2019 in favour of Nicholas John Gerard replaces the previous charge in favour of Vector Capital Ltd.

An application to Land Registry is pending

Note the change in the Charges Register section 4 to Nicholas John Gerard rather than Vector Capital Ltd.

The signature on behalf of Buildings of Remembrance International

There were two directors of Buildings of Remembrance International Ltd at this time. Nicholas John Gerard and Neil Vitale It is Mr Vitale who signs on behalf of the directors. Mr Gerard resigned from Buildings of Remembrance International Ltd on 14th October 2019, leaving Mr Vitale as sole director of that company
